Matthew C. Person, CPA is the owner of Matthew Person, CPA & Associates. Mr. Person and his firm provide accounting and tax services, financial advising and business consulting for small businesses and non-profit organizations. He specializes in small business accounting software including Peachtree, QuickBooks and PC Law. He has taught Peachtree and QuickBooks classes for clients and the general public for the last eight years. He is also an associate for K2 Enterprises (a specialist in technology seminars) where he teaches Peachtree, and QuickBooks courses for state CPA societies. Mr. Person is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. He has worked both in industry as well as public accounting for the last eleven years where he gained a vast variety of work experience. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, the New Orleans Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, a Certified Peachtree Software Consultant, a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, and holds a Series 6 Securities License and a Life, Health, & Disability insurance license.

David W. Huff, CPA, PFS, MS is a partner in the firm. David provides clients with tax preparation and consulting services, accounting services, retirement plan and benefit consulting, and management advisory services. He specializes in helping new businesses in organizing their operations to maximize tax savings and go from startup to profitability as quickly as possible. David’s education includes a Masters Degree in Accounting- Taxation Option from the University of New Orleans in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Minor in Finance from University of New Orleans in 2000. David also provides comprehensive financial planning advice covering retirement income planning, life insurance, and much more through a related firm Person & Huff Financial Services, LLC. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, and the Personal Financial Planning Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the Federal Taxation Committee for the New Orleans Chapter of the SLCPA and holds various securities licenses.

K. Dorinda Knight, CPA: is a senior associate for Matthew Person, CPA & Associates. She provides accounting and tax services, financial planning and consulting, management advisory services, and computer technical support and training for individual, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. She specializes in Peachtree, QuickBooks, PC Law, MediSoft, Medical Manager Software, and Medical Billing Software. Ms. Knight is a graduate from Memphis State University (presently called University of Memphis) where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.  She is certified in Peachtree Accounting Software and is a QuickBooks  Certified Pro. Dorinda also has experience with Medicare and other insurance claims forms. Her clients are predominately in the medical, legal and the construction fields.  Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the New Orleans Chapter of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.

He specializes in QuickBooks, Peachtree, Business Works, and AccPac. He also specializes in forensic accounting, internal control, and cash flow management. Mr. Moolekamp is a graduate from the University of New Orleans where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree. His public accounting experience specializes in retail and construction. Beth Goddard is the newest accountant of Matthew Person, CPA & Associates. She provides accounting and tax services, and computer technical support and training for individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations.  She specializes in small business accounting software including Peachtree, QuickBooks, PCLaw, and Champion software.  She has been an officer in non-profit organizations, and has worked in industry, as well as public accounting for approximately twelve years where she gained a variety of work experience in tax, audit, monthly write-up and computer software. Ms. Goddard majored in accounting at Loyola University and the University of New Orleans, where she is working on obtaining her Master’s degree and then earn her Certification in Public Accounting. Her professional memberships include being a board member of the American Society of Women Accountants. Beth is working towards becoming a Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks.

 Greg Rizzo is a NASD Registered Representative and Manager of “Person & Huff Financial Services, Inc.”. He is a graduate in Economics through the College of Business at the University of New Orleans. He has an extensive amount of experience in banking, investments, and insurances. For many years he has worked with the QuickBooks accounting software, and aids accounting clients with computer matters. He is working towards certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Greg is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Krewe of Carrolton Carnival Club, and a Metairie Business Network International Group Member.

Nicole Reidling

Nicole Reidling is The Director of First Impressions also known as the Office Manger for Matthew Person, CPA & Associates. She specializes in assisting our existing clients and new clients with their initial contact with the firm as well as the business end of the office. Nicole will direct clients to staff who can best serve their needs. She assists our clients by scheduling appointments for all of the staff for daily, monthly, and quarterly consultations. She is in charge of ordering software compatible laser preprinted checks and ordering the latest version of QuickBooks accounting software as well. Nicole has worked as an office manager for the past five years where she has gained her work experience with QuickBooks, and has been with our firm since the storm.
